Yashica was born in Miami, Florida and is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Law, where she served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
Yashica received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University in 2004, where she majored in Political Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice.
While in law school, she interned at The Texas Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division in San Antonio, Texas, and The Legal Aid Society of The Orange County Bar Association. Since that time, she has worked at several large law firms within the state and taught legal programs to those interested in pursuing careers as paralegals.
Yashica is the managing attorney of The McArthur Law Firm, and currently a member of:
